HOW IT WORKS
Up and Running in Minutes
Open the board with items you want to modify.
Select the items you want to edit by clicking their checkboxes.
Click the Apps button in the selected items bottom bar, then choose Bulk Item & Subitem Editor.
Select the action: set value, add/remove assignee, shift date, find & replace text, or clear column.
Select the column to modify and provide the new value.
Click Continue to preview all changes before they apply.
Review the change summary and click Apply to update all selected items.
Guest and viewer accounts cannot use this app. Full board access is required.

- Yes — Bulk Item & Subitem Editor is the only monday.com bulk editor with subitem support. Select subitems alongside main items and update them all in one action.
- Can I shift all due dates forward by 2 weeks?
- Yes. The date shift action lets you move dates on all selected items forward or backward by any number of days, keeping your timelines accurate after project delays.
- Can I fix item names that have '(copy)' in them?
- Yes. The text find & replace action searches for any text string in item names or text columns and replaces it with your specified value — across all selected items at once.
- Will I see what's changing before it's applied?
- Yes. After selecting your action and values, the app shows a preview of every change before anything is applied. You can review and confirm before proceeding.
- Can guest users access this app?
- No. Bulk Item & Subitem Editor requires full board access. Guest and viewer accounts cannot use this app.
